PTA 1111 - Health Care Experience I

(Prerequisites: PTA 1123 , PTA 1213 , PTA 1314 ) (Corequisites: PTA 1224 , PTA 1324 ) This course is designed to provide the student with a knowledge of topics applicable to the practice of physical therapy.  Topics covered will include the roles of physical therapy personnel, the APTA, billing codes and third party payers.  Students will also be introduced to the use of electronic documentation. (1 hr lecture)
