VAT 1122 - Office Procedures/Veterinary Terminology

(Prerequisites: ACT® English subscore of 17 or higher or an ACCUPLACER English subscore of 88 or higher or a Next-Generation ACCUPLACER English subscore of 245 or higher) (Pre/Corequisites: ENG 1113 - English Composition I ) This course covers topics such as veterinary technician’s role in practice management; accounting basics, personnel management, leadership skills, stress management, customer relations and practice ethics. The course will also include a study of the veterinary medical terms relating to Anatomy & Physiology, diseases, medical procedures, and clinical practice. (2 hr lecture)
