PTA 1225 - Therapeutic Modalities

(Pre/Corequisites: PTA 1151 , PTA 1314 ) This course is an introduction to the theory and practical application of hydrotherapy, thermotherapy, cryotherapy, light therapy, and mechanotherapy. Emphasis will be placed on the techniques of application, indications, and contradictions of modalities. (3 hr lecture, 4 hr lab)
