(Prerequisites: First four semesters of Pharmacy Technology Courses) Discussion of pharmacy functions relating to policies and procedures, pharmaceutical purchasing, inventory control, drug recall and returns, and maintaining transaction records. The class will explore several retail functions such as payments, billing, oral and written communications, computer data collection, and pharmaceutical merchandising. (4 hr lecture, 2 hr lab)
