MUS 1413 - Basic Computer Skills for Musicians

3 SH
(Prerequisites: ENG 0123      ) This course is designed to introduce students to iLife and the Macintosh Operating System.  Topics include the creation of podcasts, photo editing, editing of audio and video, and music composition (through MIDI, sequencing, sampling, software instruments and audio editing).  Students will also be introduced to basic recording techniques through GarageBand and Logic.  (2 hr lecture, 2 hr lab)
