(Prerequisites: Math Placement Level 2) A course in algebra to include operations with real numbers, linear equations, the coordinate system, linear inequalities, laws of exponents, operations with polynomials, and factoring. Will not substitute for the Mathematics requirements in any program of study. Institutional credit only. (3 hr lecture)
