(Prerequisites: MAT 0123 or MAT 0124 or higher, ENG 0123 or higher, REA 0133 or higher) (Corequisites: BIO 1131) A lecture course for science majors that covers the major themes of biology, the scientific method, chemistry relevant to biological systems, cell processes including photosynthesis and cellular respiration, cell division, genetics, and molecular genetics. (3 hr lecture)
