(Prerequisites: DAY OPTION - BIO 2511 /BIO 2513 ; EVENING OPTION - BIO 2511 /BIO 2513 , BIO 2521 /BIO 2523 , ENG 1113 , CSC 1123 , PSY 1513 , SPT 1113  OR SPT 2173 , Humanities/Fine Arts Elective) (Pre/Corequisites: Admission to the Health Information Technology program) This course is a study of the principles of law as applied to health information systems with emphasis on health records, release of information, confidentiality, consents, and authorizations.
