(Prerequisites: Admission to Physical Therapist Assistant Program) This course provides a knowledge of topics utilized in the practice of physical therapy. Topics covered will include positioning, draping, transfers, body mechanics, gait training, and standard precautions. Vital signs, first aid and emergency techniques will also be covered. (2 hr lecture, 2 hr lab)
