RGT 1312 - Principles of Radiation Protection

(Prerequisites: RGT 1114 , RGT 1513 , RGT 1613 , RGT 1323 ) (Corequisites: RGT 1124 , RGT 1333 , RGT 1523 , Humanities/Fine Arts Elective) This course is designed to present an overview of the principles of radiation protection including the responsibilities of the radiographer for patients, personnel, and the public. Radiation health and safety requirements of federal and state regulatory agencies, accreditation agencies, and health care organizations are incorporated. (2 hr lecture)
