(Corequisites: BIO 2923 ) A laboratory course devoted to lab safety and gaining hands-on experience in the areas of: microscopy, culturing techniques (pure culture and isolation and media preparation), staining techniques, aseptic technique, diagnostic procedures and effectiveness of antimicrobial agents.
