PTA 1224 - Biophysical Agent

(Prerequisites: PTA 1213, PTA 1314, PTA 2513) (Corequisites: PTA 1111, PTA 1324, PTA 1123) This course is an introduction to the theory and practical application of hydrotherapy, thermotherapy, cryotherapy, light therapy, and mechanotherapy. Emphasis will be placed on the techniques of application, indications, and contraindications of modalities. (2 hr lecture, 4 hr lab)
