CST 1613 - Security Fundamentals

Fundamentals of IT security. Topics include identifying risks and participating in risk mitigation activities; providing infrastructure, application, operational, and information security; applying security controls to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability; identifying appropriate technologies and products; troubleshooting security events and incidents; and operating with an awareness of applicable policies, laws, and regulations. (2 hr lecture, 2 hr lab)
