CHE 1213 - General Chemistry I

(Prerequisites: MAT 1313 /MAT 1314 - College Algebra or higher or CHE 1314 - Principles of Chemistry I , students that have not taken any Chemistry but completed College Algebra should consider taking CHE 1314 Principles of Chemistry first. (Corequisites: CHE 1211) A lecture course that covers the fundamental principles of chemistry and their application. Chemical nomenclature, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, atomic structure, bonding theories, energy, periodic properties, and gas laws are among the topics discussed in depth. (3 hr lecture)
