SUT 1517 - Basic & Related Surgical Procedures

(Prerequisites: All First Semester Courses) (Pre/Corequisites: SPT 1113  or SPT 2173 ) This course includes instruction in regional anatomy, pathology, instrumentation, techniques, and safe patient care in surgical specialty areas of diagnostic, minimally invasive surgery (MIS), general, gynecological, obstetrical, and urological procedure. This course requires clinical experience in area hospital surgical suite and related departments.  (3 hr lecture, 12 hr clinical)
