(Corequisites: DAT 1111, DAT 1313) Dental safety precautions will be emphasized. Includes a comprehensive study of the physical and chemical properties of dental materials. Lab sessions include measuring, manipulating, and preparing dental materials for use in the dental operatory and dental laboratory. (3 hr lecture, 2 hr lab)
