Program Description:
The Health Information Technology program is a two-year technical program leading to an Associate Degree, which prepares the individual to work in hospitals and other health care settings managing health information in paper and electronic format. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be eligible to apply to take the AHIMA certification examination for the Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).
