AGT 1163 - Introduction to Spatial Information Systems 3 (Prerequisites: Instructor Approval) This course provides an overview of spatial information concepts and the tools of spatial information systems (GNSS, GIS, VRT, and remote sensing). Students will recognize the impact of spatial information technology on our lives currently and in the future. They will research potential career opportunities as they relate to the emerging technologies and the basic concepts under which spatial information functions. (3 hr lecture)
