AGT 2474 - Site Specific Pest Management 4 (Prerequisites: Instructor Approval) This course provides instruction and training in conventional and site-specific techniques used in control of agricultural pests including insects, diseases, weeds, and nematodes. Students will use pest management techniques and tools including spatial information systems to evaluate impact of pest injury and costs associated with control. Students will learn how variable rate technologies are applied in the field for site-specific pest management. (3 hr lecture, 2 hr lab)
