HIT 1323 - Health Care Law and Ethics

(Prerequisites: BIO 2511/BIO 2513 or BIO 2514, BIO 2521/BIO 2523 or BIO 2524) (Pre/Corequisites: Admission to the Health Information Technology program) This course is a study of the principles of law as applied to health information systems with emphasis on health records, release of information, confidentiality, consents, and authorizations.
