HIT 2522 - Professional Practice Experience II

(Prerequisites: HIT 2133 , HIT 2543 , HIT 2823 ) In this course, students rotate through health information management areas in hospitals and other health facilities for application of principles and procedural practice to attain competency and/or complete assignments virtually through the utilization of software that simulates healthcare environments related to HIM. Specific content is dependent on placement in curriculum and site availability. (6 hr clinical)
