SUT 1517 - Basic & Related Surgical Procedures

(Prerequisites: All First Semester Courses) (Pre/Corequisites: SPT 1113  or SPT 2173 ) This course includes instruction in regional anatomy, pathology, instrumentation, surgical techniques, and safe patient care in general surgery, gynecology, obstetrics, orthopedics, and genitourinary. This course requires clinical experience in area hospital surgical suites and related departments. (3 hr lecture, 12 hr clinical)
