CHE 1414 - Organic & Biochemistry Survey

(Prerequisites: CHE 1213 or CHE 1313 or CHE 1214 or CHE 1314) A combined lecture and laboratory course that covers the fundamentals of organic chemistry, including nomenclature, structure, properties and reactions. The last portion of the course emphasizes organic compounds and reactions involved in biological processes. Labs associated with this course contain experiments and exercises that reinforce the principles introduced in lecture classes. (4 hr lecture and lab)
