SET 2523 - Maintenance and Repair of Cutting Mechanisms

3 SH
A course to develop skills and knowledge related to the maintenance and repair of cutting mechanisms used in landscape and turf operations including mowers, trimmers, edgers, and saws.  Includes instruction in drive systems, blade sharpening and height adjustment, reel grinding and adjustment, and chain saw chain sharpening and adjustment.  (2 hr lecture, 2 hr lab)
