(Prerequisites: NUR 2214) Within the framework of the nursing process and across the lifespan, focuses on the role of the professional nurse related to client teaching, community concepts, care of clients undergoing operative procedures and treatment modalities for cancer, and management of the care of clients experiencing alterations in circulatory and respiratory function. (8 week course: 6 hrs lecture, 6 hrs clinical)
