(Prerequisites: NUR 2234) Within the framework of the nursing process and across the lifespan, focuses on the role of the professional nurse related to management of the care of clients as related to substance abuse and clients experiencing alterations in musculoskeletal, sensory, neurological and psychological function and special situations. (8 week course: 6 hrs lecture, 6 hrs clinical)
