SUT 1113 - Fundamentals of Surgical Technology

(Prerequisites: BIO 2511 ;  BIO 2513 ; BIO 2521 ; BIO 2523 ; ENG 1113 ; MAT 1233  or MAT 1134  or MAT 1133 ; and Humanities Elective 3 SH) (Corequisites: SUT 1217 , SUT 1313 , SUT 1413 ) (Pre/Corequisites: Social/Behavioral Science Elective 3 SH) This is a basic introductory course including hospital and surgical suite organization and environment, history, legal responsibilities, terminology, communication relationships, minimally invasive application and biomedical sciences.  (3 hr lecture)
