BIO 1613 - Nutrition

(Prerequisites: ENG 0113 , MAT 0113 , REA 0123 ) A lecture course covering the nutrients for normal growth and prevention of major chronic diseases, and applied to the selection of food for ingestion, the metabolic process of digestion, assimilation, and the absorption, and the applications for healthcare providers.  (3 hr lecture)
