BFT 2443 - Professional Development in Financial Institutions3 SH The Banking and Finance Technology curriculum is a two-year course of study designed to prepare prospective students for the varied career opportunities in the progressive field of financial services. The financial services industry includes commercial banks, saving and loan associations, finance companies, credit unions, businesses, real estate, insurance, and educational facilities. The program is designed to provide an introduction and an overview of basic financial knowledge and abilities, along with the required competencies and social skills necessary for employment/advancement in the field of finance. Courses in finance, computers, and academics are included. (2 hr lecture, 2 hr lab)
