(Prerequisites: Admission to Physical Therapist Assistant Program) This course is an introduction to the field of physical therapy including role orientation, professional organizational structure, legal and ethical implications, and legislation. Historical patterns in the development of the profession will be explored and medical terminology introduced. (3 hr lecture)
