EET 1363 - Microcontrollers

(Prerequisites: EET 1214 ) This course begins with a brief overview of microprocessors as a precursor to microcontrollers.  Next, a basic understanding of the use, terminology, and potential of microcontrollers is discussed.  Programming skills and concepts taught in this course help students develop, execute, and debug programs for a microcontroller.  A hands-on approach will teach the essential skills for creating a simple sensor-driven microcontroller system and will be reinforced with interactive projects. (1 hr lecture, 4 hr lab)
