(Prerequisites: RGT 1323) Content imparts an understanding of the components, principles and operation of digital imaging systems found in diagnostic radiology. Factors that impact image acquisition, display, archiving, and retrieval are discussed. In addition, principles of digital system quality assurance and maintenance are presented. (2 hr lecture, 2 hr lab)
