(Prerequisites: PNV 1213, PNV 1426, PNV 1436) (Corequisites: PNV 1614, PNV 1622) This course provides the student with the principles of IV therapy and pharmacology. Principles covered in the course include the administration of medication, administration of IV fluids, and administration of IV medications included in the scope of practice for the practical nurse. (3 hr lecture, 2 hr lab)
