SUT 1113 - Fundamentals of Surgical Technology

(Prerequisites: BIO 2511 , BIO 2513 , BIO 2521 , BIO 2523 , ENG 1113 , MAT 1233  or higher, Humanities Elective 3 SH) (Corequisites: SUT 1217 , SUT 1313 , SUT 1413 ) (Pre/Corequisites: Social/Behavioral Science Elective 3 SH) This is a basic introductory course including hospital and surgical suite organization and environment, history, legal responsibilities, terminology, interpersonal relationships, all-hazards preparation and biomedical sciences. (3 hr lecture)
