SUT 1413 - Surgical Microbiology

(Prerequisites: BIO 2511 , BIO 2513 , BIO 2521 , BIO 2523 , ENG 1113 , MAT 1233  or higher, Humanities Elective 3 SH) (Corequisites: SUT 1113 , SUT 1217 , SUT 1313 ) (Pre/Corequisites: Social/Behavioral Science Elective 3 SH) This is an introduction to pathogenic microorganisms related to surgery and their effect on wound healing and infection. It includes principles of sterilization and disinfection. (3 hr lecture)
