Program Description:
Computer Network Technology is a two-year program that offers training in telecommunications, network technologies, administration, hardware maintenance, operating systems and network planning, and implementation. Computer networking graduates will have opportunities for employment as computer support specialists, network technicians, and network managers or administrators.
This program leads to an Associate of Applied Science Degree and is preparatory for employment upon graduation from Hinds Community College. Where a transfer to a senior college or university is desired, a conference should be scheduled with a community college counselor for advisement.
